Jürg E. Hartmann's practice was focused on corporate, commercial and contract law, including M&A, stock exchange and capital market law. He acted both as a counsel and as member of the board of directors for various companies as well as foundations with business activities and pension funds. In connection with this main-practice area he advised also in restructuring transactions of corporations and cartel aspects connected therewith and in succession planning of companies.

In this focused field, he regularly acted as arbitrator in domestic and international arbitrations (ad hoc arbitration, ICC, Swiss Rules etc.).
